What is Memorial & Keepsake Jewellery?

Memorial Jewellery is designed to hold part of a loved one who has passed away, whether that be their cremated ashes, strands of hair or fur, or even fibres from their favourite shirt. For many people, this brings comfort and a tangible link to the person or pet that they have lost, and is a special way to keep them close.

Memorial Jewellery is sometimes referred to as Keepsake Jewellery, but a keepsake can also be made with personal elements to honor the love and deep bonds we have for those who are still with us. A beautiful example of this could be strands of hair from a baby's first trim, a tiny flower from a wedding bouquet, or from the mane of a beloved pet horse.

Ordering Process

Once you have placed your order, an element collection kit will be dispatched to you within 2 working days.

The kit will contain full instructions, 2 small sealable pouches, a scoop, a ring sizer (if required), an order form, a sticky return address label and a business card detailing my direct contact information.

Carefully collect your chosen elements, following the enclosed instructions. Please ensure that all bags are properly sealed. Only a small amount of your chosen element is required (roughly 1 teaspoon) however all unused elements will be returned to you with your finished piece of jewellery. If you have a very small amount of the element, please do not send it all to me in case it is lost in the post.

Next, complete the enclosed order confirmation form. You will be able to choose from 31 colour options (see image), and add other decorative inclusions such as gold coloured foil and synthetic opals if you wish.

Due to the handmade nature of this piece, and depending on the elements selected, slight variations in colour and texture may occur. These natural differences are not flaws; they’re part of what makes each piece truly one-of-a-kind.

Return the collected elements and order confirmation form to me in the post. Tracked shipping is recommended. The return shipping cost is not included, and has been deducted from our prices.

I will always endeavour to begin work on your piece as soon as I have received your collection kit, however please do allow 2-4 weeks for me to make and send your finished jewellery.

Every piece of jewellery is crafted by hand with the utmost care, empathy and respect, and I will work closely with you to ensure you have the best possible experience that, I hope, will bring you comfort and a lasting connection with your loved one.

Your finished piece will be gift wrapped and sent to you by Royal Mail, 24 hour tracked delivery.
